Rose Nakayaga
My name is Rose Nakayaga, a Social Worker, currently working as a Customer Care Officer at Nakasero Hospital.
joined Rotaract in the year 2012 and was privileged to serve in different positions both at club and District level; In 2013-2014, I served as the Club Service Director and President Elect before becoming the "First class" President in the year 2014-2015 under the theme, "Light up Rotary".
Subsequently, I served as an Assistant District Rotaract Representative (ADRR) in the year 2015-2016.
Outstanding Project;
During my year as President, the club further strengthened the relationship with our partner Rotaract East Africa Impact Project (REACT) clubs through an official launch which saw the signing of the binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
We also enhanced our service project, which involved supporting an Orphanage in Bombo.
It was indeed a successful year which saw the club win four awards, and emerging second best at reporting, at Country and District levels.
It was truly an honor having served in these different capacities because it helped unleash my leadership potential, enhanced my team working skills, and it was a great opportunity for me to widen my social networks.
